Freemasonry is a voluntary organization promoting a way of life that binds men together in a worldwide brotherhood. It transcends all religious, ethnic, cultural, social, and educational differences in order to promote positive changes in Freemasonry and the world.

 

Masonry teaches the great principles of Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth, and by the outward expression of these, ways to serve God, family, country, neighbors and self.

Sun City Lodge strives to provide our candidates and initiates with an introduction to the beauty and mysteries of Freemasonry. This Masonic responsibility is met in a manner consistent with inculcating the greatest understanding, respect for, and appreciation of their acceptance into a Lodge of Master Masons.

Sun City Lodge seeks to cultivate, nurture, and produce motivated Master Masons who are exposed to a Masonic education that emphasizes participation in Lodge work, officer development and excellence in the performance of Masonic ritual.

As a Lodge of Master Masons, endeavor to advance the tenets of our Craft. Therefore, it is our priority to promote a culture of charity, education, and personal growth.

 

The members and officers Sun City Lodge are dedicated to travel within the fraternity, and further their Masonic education and experiences. Sun City Lodge is an environment, a vehicle, a habitat, if you will, designed for the purpose of developing excellent Masons.

Members should be committed to living by the principles of classical Freemasonry. They are encouraged to investigate the origins and history of Masonry, and live by those principles.

 

Members are expected to accept knowledge arrived at through experience. Masonic Brotherhood is defined as a personal active commitment to each other; an important, continuous aspect. Members value knowledge, intention, action, and circumspection. They study the esoteric foundations of the craft, hope to learn and perform exemplary ritual, and investigate exactly what the ritual was designed to teach.

 

Members should value and embrace an open search for truth, and reject tyranny, “political correctness”, and social injustice. Charity is practiced directly and personally. Sun City Lodge accepts men who wish to walk in the active pursuit of the Masonic tenets.

Sun City Lodge is required to meet on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m., except in July and August.

 

The Lodge often has Degrees and other events on other Thursdays of the month. Most of these events are held at 7:00 p.m. Check the calendar for event starting times. We have dinner before each meeting and degrees. The cost for dinner is $10.00.
